Carver County collaborated with Home Again Furnishings to expand its services by adding reclaimed building materials. Home Again Furnishings, situated near downtown Waconia, has dedicated space to accommodate the reclaimed building materials.

Carver County, in partnership with Nordic Waste, is in the process of identifying two additional ReClaim-It drop-off sites within the county to make building reuse donations even more convenient.

1. Review Donation Guidelines: All donated items should be in clean, working condition and include all parts. We cannot accept items that have rust, broken parts or mold. Before donating, please check the Accepted Materials List. The list is intended as a guideline only.  We reserve the right to refuse any donation that we do not consider sellable or reusable.

2. Submit for Approval: To ensure your donation is appropriate, please fill out the Donation Approval Form below.  Be sure to upload an image and tell us more about the materials you wish to donate. We’ll be in contact with you to discuss you’re donation and tell you which location to bring your materials to.

3. Bring It In: After pre-approval, items can be dropped off at a drop-off location during designated donation hours. We reserve the right to turn away any item we determine is not sellable, regardless of prior approval.
